We are now recruiting for two exciting new positions of Paramedic Practitioner within Dorking PCN to work together within our established community medical team and with the four practices.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a learning environment helping to develop your role, without an out of hours requirement. You would be a member of an integrated system combining triage and acute intervention sessions in primary care, but also with the opportunity to engage in the more complex home visits as part of the community medical team.
Although full time is preferable, part time working will be considered.
We are seeking knowledgeable, ambitious and skilled professionals with dedication and a good customer service ethos, who will act as excellent role models to other members of the team.
The successful applicants must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a relevant degree e.g. BSc in Paramedic Science as well as a post graduate diploma in Paramedic Practice. In addition, they should possess excellent clinical skills evidenced through continuing professional development and a minimum of 5 years’ post registration qualification as a paramedic or equivalent relevant experience in front line ambulance or acute or chronic care. An Independent Prescriber qualification would be desirable.
