COVID-19 Aftercare Service at Dorking Hospital

A new service for people who have had COVID-19 and after 6 weeks are still experiencing symptoms.

If you are recovering from a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 and you did not receive hospital treatment, you can ask your GP to refer you to our new aftercare service at Dorking Hospital.

The new service, which follows British Thoracic Society guidelines, aims to bring together a range of specialisms to provide the best possible care including outpatient services, mental health services, respiratory nursing and respiratory physiotherapy.

If you are referred, you will be invited for a face to face appointment with our nursing team to complete observations and questionnaires. A follow-up appointment will be made with a respiratory specialist and other referrals will be made as appropriate.

Please speak to your GP or call DHC Outpatients on 01306 735459 for further details.
