Dr Young (Pip) died suddenly at home on 12 March 2024, aged 73. Dr Young was a founding member of DHC and a great believer in the principles of bringing better healthcare services closer to home.
He became a Director in 2005 and helped DHC get established by working for nothing at the start and remained a Director until his retirement in 2012. We thank him for his valuable contribution and support.
Dr Young was a very dedicated GP in Dorking for 30 years and a Senior Partner at Dorking Medical Practice. A book of condolence will be at New House Surgery in Dorking until 12 April, for anyone who would like to write a personal memory or tribute. The book will be given to Dr Young’s family.
Dr Young lived life to the full and enjoyed rugby, tennis, golf and was a champion lawn mower racer. He was a much loved husband, father and grandfather. We offer our sincere condolences to Dr Young’s family.
Funeral service at 12 noon on 11th April at St Peter’s, Newdigate.
