DHC GP Federation expands to serve more patients in Surrey

We are pleased to announce that North Tandridge, Care Collaborative, and Leatherhead Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are joining DHC on 1 April 2025.

This expansion brings together seven PCNs and 19 GP practices, caring for 300,000 patients throughout Surrey. As a leading GP Federation in Surrey, we are now better placed than ever to drive positive change in local healthcare for our Surrey communities.

Working together allows us to achieve even more for our patients. As the Surrey provider with the broadest range of out-of-hospital NHS services, we are well-positioned to address health concerns earlier – focusing on prevention, early intervention and ultimately, a healthier population. Patients will also benefit from a more coordinated healthcare experience, with joined-up care across our network.

We are committed to bringing healthcare closer to home, over a wider geographical area. We will work with our practices on continued expansion of community and specialist services to reduce unnecessary hospital visits and ease pressure on secondary care. Our patient-first approach ensures that services are designed around individual needs and preferences, enhancing both access and choice.

"I’m delighted to be welcoming three new PCNs into the DHC family. This development marks a major step forward for primary care in Surrey which will enable us to bring about many positive changes and build a healthier community."
Dr Stewart Tomlinson
Chairman & Medical Director
"Bringing together like-minded GP practices allows us to tackle challenges and develop local solutions at scale. I look forward to working with Place and Neighbourhood partners to explore new opportunities and ensure every patient gets the best possible healthcare experience."
Michael Arnaud
Chief Executive Officer

At DHC GP Federation, we believe in the power of partnerships to build a stronger, more connected healthcare system. This expansion marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to deliver high-quality healthcare for all.
