Equality, Inclusion & Diversity (EID)
We believe our strength comes from the differences in who we are and how we think. Diversity and inclusion starts at the top of our organisation with the DHC Board of Directors which has two female members and where 33% of members are BME.
In our Annual Staff Survey 2019, 100% of BME respondents stated they believe DHC acts fairly regarding career progression/promotion, regardless of ethnic background, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or age.
DHC is committed to ensuring that EID is embedded across our organisation for staff, patients, carers and visitors. The Summary Reports below details our implementation of the Equality Delivery System.
To ensure that we continually improve implementing equality and diversity, our policies and processes are under regular review via dedicated EID working groups.
